Aaron has been employed at Creditsafe Business Solutions since 2011. Initially joining the company in a Telesales role, he quickly developed a keen interest in intelligence data and its potential benefits for clients' operational practices. Over the years, Aaron has acquired a deep understanding of analytical tools like 3D Ledger and Ledger Insights, recognizing their ability to enhance clients' daily workflows by effectively identifying and mitigating risks. Since 2016, he has served as a Sales Ledger Consultant, expanding his expertise in diverse accounting platforms and secure data delivery methods while adhering to stringent security protocols. Aaron takes pleasure in engaging with a wide range of customers, offering support to sole proprietors, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), publicly listed companies (PLCs), prominent corporations, financial institutions, and entities spanning the spectrum. He acknowledges that every company he interacts with presents unique challenges, bureaucratic complexities, and compliance requirements, thus appreciating the importance of tailoring solutions to meet individual needs. Aaron is currently enjoying the opportunity of being a registered speaker at the ICT Forums International Quarterly meetings. Through these engagements, he aims to contribute value and foster greater cohesion within the industry.
Starting my career in finance I quickly found a passion for credit in its various forms. Initially, I began working in foreign exchange and international trade within a tier-one bank. Following this, I moved into specialising in debtor finance and factoring and became skilled in credit assessing and mitigation risk; serving my tenure with several other tier-one banks within the South African market. After 12 years in tier-one banking, I joined a collections firm and played an instrumental part in the growth and stability of the company; growing our staff complement from 3 to 25 over 6 years. Following the passing of the majority shareholder the company was closed off and I relocated to Cape Town from Johannesburg. With my true passion being the credit industry, I found a vacancy with one of the primary consumer bureaus in South Africa namely Compuscan. I joined the group's Academy team, as an Executive Consultant and shortly thereafter moved into a Sales management position, and during this time identified a gap in the group's lack of a commercial report offering. Compuscan Directorate allowed me to spearhead the start-up of a new business division to create an overall B2B Commercial Bureau offering. As the division became a fully functional business unit, I led the unit as the Head of Product and Sales Commercial. Here I was heading up the development of all Business-to- Business products, finding new and alternative data sources, sales management growing a specialist staff unit for investigations reporting and overall commercial product suite software. Relocating to the United Kingdom in 2019 I joined Creditsafe as a Senior Product Manager with a specific focus on SaaS offerings in Trade Credit Products, Prospecting and Debt Collection deliveries.
